PlaceSage helps you identify landmarks, monuments, statues, buildings, public artworks, and similar points of interest from images. It may provide AI-generated descriptions, coordinates, addresses, public reference data, and a personal map of places you have identified.

The Service includes the mobile application, website, account flows, guest account flows, APIs, map features, image upload and identification features, saved scan history, support channels, and legal pages.

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your country if higher, to create an account or use the Service.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity on your account, including scans made from a guest or temporary account.
• Temporary accounts may have limited features or scan limits. You may need to register to keep access to saved scans and account data.
• We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms, law, security, or service integrity are at risk.

You are responsible for the images, location data, text, feedback, and other content you submit to PlaceSage. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit that content and to allow us to process it for the Service.

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transmit, display, and create technical or AI-generated outputs from your content only as needed to operate, protect, support, and improve PlaceSage.

• Do not submit images that violate privacy, intellectual property, security, or other rights.
• Do not submit illegal, harmful, abusive, sexually exploitative, or invasive content.
• Do not use PlaceSage to identify private individuals, surveil people, or infer sensitive traits about people.

PlaceSage uses automated systems and third-party data sources. Landmark names, descriptions, coordinates, addresses, confidence scores, and saved map information may be inaccurate, incomplete, duplicated, or unavailable.

You must use your own judgment and verify important information independently. PlaceSage is not a navigation, emergency, accessibility, legal, cultural heritage, or professional advice service.

• Do not break the law or infringe another person's rights.
• Do not interfere with, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass limits or security controls of the Service.
• Do not upload malware or attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems, data, APIs, or providers.
• Do not use the Service to build a competing dataset or model by bulk extraction or automated harvesting.
• Do not misrepresent PlaceSage outputs as verified facts when they have not been independently checked.

PlaceSage depends on third-party services such as Amazon Web Services, OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock where configured, PostHog, Sentry, Cloudflare Turnstile, Apple, Google, Google AdMob where enabled, Wikidata, Wikimedia, and app stores. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply to the services they provide.

We are not responsible for third-party services, public data sources, app store rules, network availability, device settings, or third-party changes that affect PlaceSage.

PlaceSage offers optional paid, auto-renewable subscription plans that provide the benefits described on the purchase screen. The plan name, included benefits, price, billing period, and any free trial or introductory offer are displayed before you confirm a purchase.

Subscriptions can be purchased only through the Apple App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android. Apple or Google processes the payment and its terms also apply to billing, taxes, payment methods, cancellations, and refunds handled by that store.

• When you confirm a purchase, you authorise Apple or Google to charge your applicable store account for the displayed price and any applicable taxes.
• Subscriptions automatically renew for the stated billing period unless you cancel before the next renewal in accordance with the store's timing requirements.
• Any free trial or introductory offer converts to the displayed paid subscription when the offer ends unless you cancel before then. Eligibility and duration are determined by the applicable store offer.
• You must manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple or Google account. Deleting PlaceSage or deleting your PlaceSage account does not cancel the subscription.
• Cancellation normally stops the next renewal. Unless the store's rules or applicable law provide otherwise, subscription benefits continue until the end of the current paid billing period.
• Refund requests and billing disputes are handled under Apple or Google's applicable policies and applicable consumer law. PlaceSage does not directly process your payment-card details.
• You can restore eligible purchases through PlaceSage where the applicable store and account support restoration.
• We may change subscription benefits or prices. Any change will be made subject to app-store requirements and applicable law, including notice or consent where required.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

PlaceSage may display advertisements or sponsored placements where advertising components are enabled. The purchase screen explains any subscription benefits that affect advertising.

We and our licensors own PlaceSage, including the software, design, branding, logos, systems, and generated service infrastructure. These Terms do not transfer ownership of PlaceSage to you.

You keep ownership of content you submit, subject to the limited licence you grant us to operate the Service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data. You should read it before using the Service.

You may request account deletion through the app where available. We may retain limited records where needed for security, legal compliance, backups, dispute resolution, and legitimate business purposes.

We may suspend or terminate the Service, your account, or particular features if you breach these Terms, create risk for us or others, or if we need to protect the Service.

The Service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that PlaceSage will identify every landmark, preserve every scan, remain uninterrupted, or produce accurate or useful information.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astra Prospera Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, travel plans, opportunities, or reputation arising from your use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
